I think she means North KOREA somehow. (http://i.dailymail.co.uk/mp3/2009/05/25/BBC_5_Live_25_May.mp3) Either that or Lancashire is in for a surprise...

I commend you, good sir, for using "sirrah".

I wouldn't know a thing about Yorkshire or Yorkshiremen, but I assume that if they have nukes. England suddenly has more problems than it did before.

Well, the odds are in favor of there being at least one nuke somewhere in Yorkshire, aren't they? Or does the UK keep their nuclear arsenal entirely aboard submarines?

In answer to the second question: Practically, yes.

Highly dangerous military convoys carrying nuclear warheads travel regularly up and down the country by road - between the nuclear warhead factory at Burghfield (near Aldermaston) in Berkshire and the Trident nuclear base at Coulport in Scotland.

I live in North Yorkshire, and for the LAST TIME it wasn't an underground nuclear test, I'm just not very good at cooking.

Well, the odds are in favor of there being at least one nuke somewhere in Yorkshire, aren't they? Or does the UK keep their nuclear arsenal entirely aboard submarines?First they are not going to be using them in underground tests are they? And second:Nukewatch UK (http://www.nukewatch.org.uk/) is a very missleading website, both in the dangers involved and the legal status of these runs. But that is a story for another thread.

In answer to the second question: Practically, yes.

Then we must ask ourselves: are the odds in favor of there being a nuke sub in Yorkshire?

Also, I hate to quash aspiring archaeolocutors, but "sirrah" is, in fact, a disparaging term.
