So you've killed the Lich King, stabbed to death his pet Tarrasque, and rode the thunderbird to the top of Mount MacGuffin, there your treasure awaits you, a gleaming, glowing, shiny...

bag of tricks . You look at it and ask yourself "What the hell am I going to do with this?"

What is the answer to your rhetorical question to yourself?

Use it to check for traps. Or as one of my old characters used to say, "Let us test the lethality of this floor/hallway/misty jungle/vortex of doom" :smallwink:

You've heard the phrase 'Trap Monkey' yeah.... the little ones are great for that.

You want to know how deep a pit is, drop a critter, wait for the scream.

Dinner.

Hey, thri-kreens aren't exactly picky eaters.

I mean, they eat elves.

Bag of Tricks + Benign Transposition is win. I've used it twice in one game...the first time to swap a badger with the party ubercharger so he could devastate the enemy a second time, the second was when the same ubercharge had been grappled by a half-ton demon (waaaaay over the weight limit of my Overland Flight) and both were falling to their doom - so I swapped him with a grizzly bear. An angry grizzly bear. Neither the bear nor the demon could fly, and both were quite upset until they hit the ground a great distance later.

Sell it at an absurd markup to a furry.

COCKFIGHT!
Square it up across from another Bag of Tricks, take bets, and beware of FEMA.

Now, if we could pull catgirls out of the bag, I'd be all over it.

I used it to drop lions on the BBEG

(well, technically, once they hit the floor they seized to be lions, so I suppose you could say that used it to drop mewling bags of 300kg meat)

Pull out any animal, Polymorph it into a dragon.

Now, if we could pull catgirls out of the bag, I'd be all over it.

Or polymorph into other shapes, if we're talking about in leisure time...
