I am currently playing a Monk 3/Cleric 3. I haven't seen any PRCs for this combination. Are their any out there?

Not specifically, no. Just keep pumping those cleric levels.

If you don't have good advice, then don't give bad ones. :smallmad: Cleric levels are dead levels (aside from spellcasting), and there's no point in 'pumping' them.

Sacred Fist is specifically made for Monk/Clerics.

Cleric levels are dead levels (aside from spellcasting), and there's no point in 'pumping' them. There's one exception: a dedicated undead specialist. Generally undead turning is a nonstarter, but it is possible to make it work. And undead turning is based on Cleric levels.

There are PrCs that improve your turning AND have class features.

Sacred Fist is specifically made for Monk/Clerics.

To elaborate, Sacred Fist gives you full BAB, Cleric saves, 8/10 caster levels and the ability to temporarily add your wisom modifier to your damage (as divine damage, I think). The downside is that you suffer a penalty on all attacks except unarmed ones, and as far as I remember you do not get any advancement in Ki strike, meaning that if you come up against an enemy with damage resistance beyond "magical", you're screwed; no silver, cold iron or adamantine kama for you, pal.

What might those be?

SF is one of those classes where "Test trumps table" rule comes in handy. The description of Spells Per Day/Spells Known for SF clearly indicates that it has 10/10 spellcasting progression! Oh joy!

What might those be?

Ordained Champion, Bone Knight, Sacred Excorcist, Apostle of Peace...

I'm sure there are others, these are just off the top of my head.

I'm curious to know, where on Wizards' site (not counting the forums) does it actually say that text does indeed trump table? I can't seem to find it.

:smallconfused:
Why would it be on the wizards site, if anywhere?

The rule is found in the DMG.

In the first paragraph of (I'm pretty sure) every individual errata document.

Ah, silly me. Thanks guys. (This seems to indicate that sacred fists gain full casting, by the text.)

It's never been clear, but its entry reqs are stringent enough to suggest that this may be a valid argument, though the sage ruled against it. The sage ruled against a lot of things, some reasonable, others not, though, so...

Basically, Dm trumps text trumps table is my ordering. Ask nicely and you may get 10/10 casting, since there are solid grounds for it.

As for over coming the dr of some monsters try to get a better unarmed base dice. Get monks belt/SuS (or both cuz some DMs alow them to stack and if so and you are in the level 15 get monks tatto.) Also the feat Improved natrual attack or Fanged ring, the later is in a DR mag so it might be harder to get in, they dont stack so... geting a good size buff for a good (depending on min/max) 3d8-4d6 unamred damge. More if SF adds to monk levels.
