It's the only explanation. Blackwing stared into the abyss...

And the abyss stared back into him.

And V fought with monsters, but did not take care not to become a monster himself.

They totally ripped that off from Watchmen.

We are all in the monster manual, after all.

'cept Humans.

I was thinking of something else (http://home.flash.net/~brenfrow/ps/ps-dead.htm) actually. If, somehow, that's the direction the Giant decides to go with this...

...Waitaminnit! That means Nietzsche is Orcus! Whoa!

And let's not forget how all the antagonists are enemies we can hate, but not ones we can despise...

Psh, no that's rediculous. He's clearly Telemacus Rhade's half-brother....

I would love to see a Create Supreme Undead epic spell.
Took a shot at epic spellmaking:

God is Undead (Ritual)
Necromancy (Evil)
Spellcraft DC: 1
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 55 days and 11 minutes
Range: Touch
Target: Body of a dead god
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: No
To Develop: 9,000 gp; 1 day; 360 XP. Seed: animate dead (DC 23). Factor: animating diety (ad hoc 1,000 DC per divine rank, +20,000 DC), control and create undead over 20 HD (3 DC per 2 HD over 20, +120 DC). Mitigating factors: 20,000 additional casters contributing 1st level spell slots (-20,000 DC), set undead type to zombie (-12 DC), increase cast time by 10 minutes (-20 DC), increase cast time by 55 days (-110 DC).

Create Supreme Undead animates the body of a dead god into a zombified form controllable by the caster and following his or her spoken commands. The dead god targeted must be 100 HD or below and must have 20 divine ranks (greater diety) or less. The undead god follows the caster indefinitely or until destroyed.
Basically, it's cheap as hell to make and you automatically succeed at casting it no matter what. Unfortunately, you're going to need 20,000 level 1 spellcasters to help you. Time to get started on your freaky undead cult!

Well, OotS is 3.5! So ha! :smalltongue: We also have in-comic support with Celia saying humans are not in the MM, thus, in OotS, they're not.

There were no spoons and forks in medieval times, therefore there are no spoons and forks at Medieval Times.

I don't think time works that way. There are no more medieval times, thus things cannot be present tense in there.

The second use of Medieval Times was capitalized, indicating that he was talking about The theme restaurant. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medieval_Times)

I thought the ubermensch rejected common morality and created his own superior moral code?
