Eh, people I've... liked have a rather bad tendency to wind up as targets. He shrugs, frowning. I have a lot of enemies in my... line of work, and they seem to like attacking everyone close to me.

She seems to smile a bit at hearing he does indeed like her and wasn't just toying with her. Sounds like he even cares about her well-being. Just because I'm an angel doesn't mean I'm not capable of defending myself.

My player is having trouble reconciling my marriage to Ari with the ever more apparent fact that her player is probably never going to be back here.

The dragon is about 3 feet long, silver, and has a small, square patch (About an inch on a side) of crushed scales on one side, just behind it's front right leg.

Dad stayed up for two weeks, I actually sleep every night... He closes the book and shrugs.

Matt stops in the room and swallows, recalling what else happened in this very room with another very attractive woman on the table just the other day. Um, hey. You're on my crap.

Having been half-asleep, Patty rolls off the table and stands.
I was just thinkin' and that's a pretty comfortable table.

Well, I wouldn't know. He steps forward and starts gathering all the taped together maps and loose papers into one pile. Hm, considering what Matt's been working with, Patty may have little bits of tape stuck to her back...

I bet it's more comfortable than the ground, Patty observes snarkily.

Oh, well, the ground can be a pretty comfortable place to bivouac when you've spent the whole day getting shot at and watching friends die. He keeps his tone cheerful and pleasant. Oh, hold still, you've some tape on your... back... He reaches out to peel any tape off her.

She blinks a few times, honestly she wasn't sure he'd still be there when she woke. With a soft smile, she scoots a bit closer to him. That ceiling can't be all that interesting.

There's a Hitomi sitting on top of the refrigerator, away from anyone else, I think.
She's sorta just chillin' there, beating her black wings idly.

Her smile grows as he kisses her cheek. Good afternoon. Guess I slept later than I should have.

Matt walks into the kitchen, and nods when he sees Hitomi.

She giggles. I'm sure you're right. Luckily, no one here seems to be wicked. She lays on her side, looking over at him.

No? He turns to enjoy the view and grins.

A wing is lightly draped across her but there's still plenty to view. I may not be pure, doesn't mean I'm wicked. She grins back.

Tobias reaches out to lightly stroke her wing. I was referring to myself actually.

The feathers are soft and she gives a small shiver at his touch, clearly enjoying it. I don't believe you're wicked at all. Maybe a little hard to handle at times, but not wicked.

He smirks as he continues stroking the wing. Well, before I wind up completely tame, I figure I need to go out and savage some bad guy, huh?

She nods in understanding. It seems like the group needs to come together for something. Something so everyone can feel like this place isn't here for nothing.

He shrugs, moving his hand to her hair. Yeah, but there aren't too many people who needs righteous killing around anymore...

She finishes wearing white shorts and a blue top that seems to match her eyes. I have noticed. And you won't have to worry about me wearing anything I shouldn't.

I think a draw would be pretty appropriate. She agrees, grinning at his hands. She shakes her wings slightly, sending away the soot and quickly bringing them back to their pure white state.
