Getting an extra feat

I have a wizard build that currently goes Abjurer 3/ Master Specialist 7/Recaster 4.

I need to fit in a 2nd metamagic feat somewhere, but all the feats I have are taken and fairly important.

I could replace the build with wizard 5/incantrix 4/recaster 5, but I would really rather avoid the incantrix cheese. I can wait a level for either recaster 4 or master abjurer 7, so does anyone know a prc that gives a metamagic (or regular) feat at first level? (Other than incantrix obviously. Trading an entire school for 1 feat? No thanks)

You could take a flaw at level 1. Two more levels of wizard gets you a feat.

Human? Depending on your exact feats, there's also the Wizard ACF that trades Scribe Scroll for a martial feat; if you could use that instead of one of your present feats, it'd open up a slot. Other than that, yeah, Flaws.

Recaster has a racial requirement of changling, or believe me, I would be human.

How careless of me, of course. List your feats and build, will make it easier to come up with ACFs to get some of the feats as bonus or whatever.

My feats are:
Cha 1 .Spell Focus(Abjuration)
Cha 3 .Maximize Spell
Mspc1 .Skill Focus(Spellcraft)
Cha 6 .Snowcasting (Frostburn) [All spells gain cold descriptor]
Mspc3 .Greater Spell Focus (Abjuration)
Cha 9 .Frozen Magic (Frostburn) [+1 cl to spells cast in below 40, +2 to below -20]
Cha12 .Draconic Aura(Energy, Cold): +3 to Cold DCs

I plan to use control temperature to always have +2 to cl from frozen magic. Snowcasting + draconic aura is better than getting spell focus and greater spell focus in all my spells. I can get the will save on say, antimagic ray up to 28 or so. My dispel checks, between frozen magic, master abjurer, create magic tatoo and items is at +20.

I suppose frozen magic would be the best one to lose. I guess ill drop it for extend spell.

Don't forget about (Greater) Cold Focus, and maybe get Eschew Materials so you won't actually need any snow to use Snowcasting.

Eventually you can get Flash Frost Spell (PH2), Energy Substitution: Electricity, Born of the Three Thunders, and Explosive Spell, and use Snowcasting to cast Locate City with all of those...

Yes. And its also heavily nerfed - all metamagic reducers apply once per spell. And its still by far the best prc around. At least with recaster when I instantly quicken something I destroy its duration. And I cant run around with all my buffs made persistent either.

Recaster requires a 2nd metamagic feat. Im thinking extend, although empower wouldnt be terrible.

Recaster gives me eschew materials for free. In my first build (which had 4 levels of incantrix for the feats), I did indeed have energy sub and born of the three thunders (and favor of illmater). Flash frost and explosive spell are meh.
