Xykon's legs

In the most recent comic (#661), what happened to Xykon's legs in panels 12 and 13? Are they under his robe? Is it a mistake? Does anyone know?



They're probably with Waldo.

Err, no; in every comic that has Xykon not walking/flying around, his feet disappear under his robes. Even as far back as comic #23.

Which doesn't really make sense, since it means his height varies a lot. It's just a stylistic choice.
