Stag pegasi are not the most intelligent or dangerous spegasi, but they are the most agressive. When they encounter a problem, first instinct is to attack. Failing that, a stag pegasus will go off and get more of its kind before returning.

A stag pegasus has antlers year-round, and both genters have them. They are prolific and mature to adluthood in a matter of months.

Unlike stag pegasi, storm pegasi are slightly smaller(standing at about 7' at the shoulder), though they are far quicker.

They can usually be found riding stom clouds, chasing each other through the lightning. They mate for life and care for their young as humans, which follow their parents until they mature, about seven years later.

They roost on mountainous ledges in stormy areas and sometimes come into contention with rocs and dragons. Blue dragons sometimes subvert storm pegasi to their will, and doing so gain powerful allies.

Fire Aura A nighmare pegasus' hooves and teeth are wreathed in flames. These add extra damage to each of their attacks.

Taken from the prime material and twisted by the tanar'ri for their malefactive ends, nightmare pegasi have become the mount of choice for the smaller demons and devils of the lower planes.

They have also found remarkable use among the blackguards of the prime material.

Is the Nightmare Pegasus intentionally like the nightmare from the MMI, but with wings?

Is the Nightmare Pegasus intentionally like the nightmare from the MMI, but with wings?
Pretty much, though I actually adapted the nightmare pegasus from a story I wrote a few years ago and it just came out similar.
