Order of The Bo Initiate
Order of the Bo Initiate’s are masters of the Bo (Quarterstaff). They practice with this unorthodox weapon with an almost religious devotion.
Requirements
BaB: +5
Skills: Concentration 5 ranks, Knowledge(religion) 2 ranks, Tumble 4 ranks
Feats: Combat expertise, Dodge, Two Weapon Fighting, Weapon Focus (Quarterstaff)

Proficiencies
Order of the Bo Initiates gain no Proficiency in Weapons or Armour
Defense Kata (Ex)
Whilst wielding a Quarterstaff and wearing no armour or shield, an Order of the Bo initiate adds his Int modifier to his AC as a dodge bonus, to a maximum of his class level
Mow Down Kata (Ex)
Starting at 2nd level, an Order of the Bo initiate can use a quarterstaff to make trip attempts. If he fails his trip attempt he may drop the Quarterstaff to avoid being tripped.
Destructive Kata (Ex)
Beginnig at 3rd level, when an Order of the Bo Initiate makes an attack with a quarterstaff, he may accept a -4 penalty to AC, in return for a +2 bonus on attack and damage rolls. These modifiers last until his next turn.
Greater Weapon Focus (Quaterstaff)
At 4th level an Order of the Bo Initiate gains Greater Weapon Focus (Quarterstaff as a bonus feat. He need not meet the prerequisites.
Distracting Kata (Ex)
Beginning at 5th level, when an Order of the Bo Initiate makes a full attack with a quarterstaff, he ay give up all his off-hand attacks with his quarterstaff. If he does, his opponent takes a -4 penalty to AC against his primary attacks until his next turn.
Improved Two Weapon Fighting
At 6th level an Order of the Bo Initiate gains Improved Two Weapon Fighting as a bonus feat. He need not meet the prerequisites.
Deflection Kata (Ex)
Beginning at 7th level, if you use Combat Expertise to take at least a -3 penalty to attacks while wielding a Bo, until the beginning of your next turn if you would normally be hit by a melee attack, you may deflect it with your Bo so you take no damage from it. You may only use this ability once per round, and must be aware of the attack and not flatfooted. Attempting to deflect an attack does not count as an action. Unusually massive melee attacks cannot be deflected.
Improved Destructive Kata (Ex)
Beginning at 8th level, when an Order of the Bo Initiate uses his Destructive Kata ability, he only takes a -2 penalty to his AC, rather than -4.
Overwhelming Kata (Ex)
Beginning at 9th level, when an Order of the Bo Initiate successfully hits with a quarterstaff attack, all subsequent attacks gain a cumulative +1 bonus to hit and damage against that foe. These bonuses last until his next turn.
Whirlwind Kata (Ex)
At 10th level, an Order of the Bo Initiate gains the benefits of the Whirlwind Attack feat whilst wielding a Quarterstaff. He may use this ability as a standard action rather than a full round action.
I was reading an artice on Bojutsu (sp?) today, and since I've always liked Quarterstaffs I decided to make this class. I could use some better names for the katas. Discuss.
