View Full Version : The "Exams are over" webcomic secret santa!

onasuma
2009-06-18, 05:09 PM
So, my exams have ended. You may feel that this is a time for me to relax to relax, take it easy and feel the stress of the week melt away. Wrong, Im running something stressful!

Basically, this here is a pool of artists who wish to contribute to anothers comic. They will be randomly asigned another persons comic from the list and must draw a guest strip for them. Everyone will therefore draw one and get given one comic (at least in theory). As before, any comics missing will probably be drawn by me...

However, there are rules.

#1: To enter, you must have a comic with at least 10 strips in it (See the c2h5oh thread for more ideas on how many 10 is)

#2: If you dont get a comic in on time, you arent entering one of these ever again, and I will shame you using custard and pie.

#3: At least make the amount of effort you'd put into one of your strips for the one you get given

#4: If your artist fails to deliever, I will do a 3 or so panel strip, to say sorry it didnt work out.

Thats that. Now get signing up:

List:

Onasuma - c2h5oh
The Q - Super smash B-list
Blayze - the cronicles of estra
The randomiser - well, that was unexpected
BRC - Rob and Jack/vox pouli
Rae Artemi - kirby's quest for hats
Haruki kun - Angelic Slayer
mathoshazara - The prestige
hacktor - Shards of Syberis

Uhh, I don't think that is the intention of these guest comics.

They're supposed to be fancomics, but that would sound rather awkward since everything here is technically a fancomic since the move out of the Art & Crafts section.

Usually it's just a gag using stuff from somebody else's comic. Sorry.

Unless you want to make it canon in your plot, anyway.

I just said it's not traditional. If you've already made your comic, or started making it, or whatever, just go with it. The most important thing is that both the santa and the recipient enjoy the result.

*sigh* I guess I should complain more, then. Then somebody might make me a comic. :smallsigh:

If you want something dome right, then do it yourself. :smallannoyed:

And FYI, you did hear that correctly. I am going to make your guest comic myself.

I guess this teahces an important lesson.

If something doesn't go your way, whine about it until somebody else fixes it.

Thank you, Randomizer. Thank you so much.

This comic made me laugh out loud, even though I don't really follow the Metroid series. And you captured the assistant-lady's personality perfectly. http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z257/kerisrain/other/XD.png

I will add it to my comic's extra section as soon as I finish today's comic.

Yeah Q, I couldn't do your comic for the same reason that I couldn't work on KQfH, my inkscape went wonky, but I should be able t get your comic done this weekend.
