I'm confused as to how this was worked out. It is listed as DC40 in the short description and the full description has it at DC38 and the errata doesn't clear that up.

There are two ways I worked this out, depending where the permanent duration is factored in.

1: Permanent after mitigating factors
Factors: 21 + 27 + 17 + 20 + 12 + 6 + 33 + 15 = 151
Mitigating Factors: 151 - 20 - 90 - 35 = 6
Duration: 6 x 5 = DC 30

2: Permanent before mitigating factors
Factors: 21 + 27 + 17 + 20 + 12 + 6 + 33 + 15 = 151
Duration: 151 x 5 = 755
Mitigating Factors: 755 - 20 - 90 - 35 = DC 610

Now obviously the first one comes much closer, but isn't the duration part of the factors not the mitigating factors, therefore added (or multiplied in this case) before the mitigating factors?

Sorry if this is a pointless question, but it has been bothering me since I got the book a couple of months ago. I'm inclined to go with the first since the Permanent duration has (apply this factor last) attached to it.

I hope this isn't me just adding wrong. I mean, how embarrassing would that be?

EDIT
Noticed the SRD entry. Lots of extra mitigating factors there that bring it down to 38. Never mind then.
