Anybody else get a copy of Khyber's Harvest (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/4news/20090617) on Free RPG Day (http://www.freerpgday.com/)? In terms of writing, I thought that it was a heck of a lot better than last year's offering, the Treasure of Talon Pass (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/4dnd/20080808b), and I am glad that Keith Baker was able to do such a good job. The art, however, is pretty darn awful and inconsistent, much worse than that of the previous year, and I do not mean in terms of general art direction (I am not a huge fan of D20/4e art, but I can appreciate the style without liking it).

Anybody else got any thoughts on this?

I haven't read through it yet, but it's nice knowing someone else did and enjoyed it. I hope it works as a good intro adventure, too. Though now I own a large dungeon tile, I'm not sure what to do with it as my tile collection is lacking....

As for the art, yeah it kinda sucks, but you can tell most of it is preliminary art or sketches from Eberron design. It's a free product, so they can get away with it :P
