I've not been able to find any satisfactory answers on Google, so I thought I'd ask the Playground. I was going to post in the Let's Play thread, but didn't want to interrupt the general discussion going on.
I love Morrowind, but I've got a problem which really hinders my enjoyment. With my GeForce 8500 and 8600 cards, I have lag problems with the menus. Whenever I click a tab in-game- say, in options or inventory- it takes about five seconds to process. Which makes the game a bit of a nightmare to play. There's no lag in game, and it runs fine, bar the menus.
Any idea what my problem is?
(And while you're at it, feel free to recommend any mods for Morrowind- for armour, weapons, clothing etcetera. I've never been too sure where to start with mods for Morrowind.)
