6 levels of Fighter with the Dungeoncrasher Alt Class Feature from Dungeonscape, and the Power Attack, Improved Bullrush, and Knockback feats. Thats all kinds of fun. Past there, a few levels of Barbarian, and then a nice full BAB class with some defensive features like Pious Templar or Occult Slayer.

Sorry i meant what would help a ogre be good class wise, and what would be a good compaion for the ogre....also the ogre player will deffinetly play the ogre dumb as a box of rocks.

Check out Half-Ogre in Races of Destiny, it's designed to be a playable PC, rather than being designed as a monster and given a level adjustment as an afterthought.

Wizard, just for hilarity's sake.

Oh, you meant a functional ogre. In that case, anything that has full BAB and doesn't depend on getting to high level for its class abilities (like, say fighter)

Barbarian X/Fighter 2/prestige class to taste.

Big tanks need squishy controller friends, so make that a wizard or beguiler.

Thog not take 3rd level of fighter...that dumb...:smallbiggrin:

monk 2 or up to 6...use improved trip and improved grapple...get a monks belt and improved natural attack, maybe superior unarmed strike...fighter 2 for feats, then whatever will make you hit harder. it would just be funny for an ogre to be a flipping mess o-nasty...get some greater mighty wollop and you can be swinging some mean damage.
