So, here's the thread that anyone can put in a theory about the new toads in the New Super Mario Bros. Wii game coming out sometime. You can post anything, about color, gender, whatever. Here are the current theories:


elliot20's theory: The toads are just a place holder for characters they have yet to finish.

Theory by the_Q: You know why there seems to be an infinite supply of koopas? Why Bowser never seems to run out of them no matter how many Mario stomps on?

That's becasue Bowser is the Queen of Koopas! No, I don't mean he's gay, I mean he's like the asexual queen bee of koopa troopas. He's the father of all of them!

How else could he have Bowser Junior and the Koopalings without a mother?

Conjob: Princess Peach is a powerful psychic and the toads are her self-defense instinct manifested into a physical form.

Peach doesn't want to hurt anyone, though, so the toads have been stuck in advice giving mode, not counting a few violent slip-ups.

Geno9999: The Princess is in another castle.

the_Q: Bowser is just a normal koopa in a robotic suit!

the_Q: These toads were robots sent from the future to protect Mario and Luigi from the robotic Koopalings, who were also sent from the future to destroy them!

These are....THE TOADMINATORS!

Spartacus93: They are members of the Toad Army, and the different colors signify different rank.

the_Q: Or perhaps, because the original Toad hasn't been seen for a while in mainstream games (I think ), the original Toad had been killed, and these two were his clones. The DNA was incomplete, which caused deviations from the original Toad which included super powers to match Mario and Luigi!

Oregano: The Toads are actually clones of the original and in an attempt to make themselves unique they gave themselves different colours and chose to adventure with Mario and Luigi hoping to find their place in the Mushroom Kingdom.

The Goombas were really doing their casual businesses during SMB. Stuff like groceries and mushroom hunting. Mario didn't know any better so he killed them and thus for the Goombas that day was called; "Red Boots Day"

Anyho, another theory is that Waluigi is just a figment of Luigi's imagination. Nobody else, not even Wario, sees him. Wario is doing all the pranks, and Waluigi is just imagined to be with him.

Mario's Dance Dance Revolution was all just Luigi's dream.

Hmm, after watching the trailer for Mario and Luigi RPG 3 I've figured it all out. Bowser is Kirby sent from the future by Link to fix the leaky pipes that caused Hyrule to flood.

Close, Waluigi is really the personification of Luigi's evil side. Same with Wario. Because of this, they almost never work together.

And because Luigi is too cowardly (especially in the M&L RPGs) to fight Waluigi, he'll never defeat the guy in battle, meaning that he'll never become a Holy Luigi and get white magic. :smalltongue:
