I posted this ranger variant a while ago on these boards, then on the Wizards' Boards, and now it's back here for a final check up.

Base Attack, HD, Saves and Skills are as Ranger.
Spells:
From Ranger list
Hexblade progression
Casting stat is Int

1: Track, Endurance
2: Sudden Strike 1d6
3:
4: Sudden Strike 2d6
5: Ambush +2
6: Sudden Strike 3d6
7: Woodland Stride
8: Swift Tracker, Sudden Strike 4d6
9: Evasion
10: Sudden Strike 5d6
11:
12: Sudden Strike 6d6
13: Camouflage
14: Sudden Strike 7d6
15: Ambush +4
16: Sudden Strike 8d6
17: Hide in Plain Sight
18: Sudden Strike 9d6

Sudden Strike is as the ninja ability.
Ambush is a bonus to Initiative.

what do you mean by "Hexblade progression"?

Likely to follow the Hexblade for Saves. (Fort, Ref, Will...)

I think it means spells per day table, because it says "Hexblade Progression" under spells.

I don't know what its saves are supposed to be.

What do you know, I've posted this twice and no-one before now noticed I forgot the saves.
They're the same as the Ranger's saves.
And the spells known and per day as as the Hexblade.

Sudden strike! But doesn't that require invisibilty?

Sudden strike is just sneak attack, but much less useful because you can't use it with flanking. So until level 17 the only way for this ranger to use it is with surprise or feinting. Feinting's unlikely though, since they don't have Bluff as a class skill.
