This is a potent tool for any investigation or quest for information. Someone could use this to spy on enemy conversations, discern the guilty party in a crime, or even to look over a wizard's shoulder to read their spellbook as they turn the pages. You'd have to know exactly what moment in time to look at though.

Replay
Divination
Level: Drd 9, Knowledge 9, Sor/Wiz 9
Components: V, S, M/DF
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Centered on caster
Target: 100x100 foot cube shaped area
Duration: 1 minute/level
Saving Throw: Will disbelief (if interacted with)
Spell Resistance: No

This spell perfectly recreates a moment from the past that took place at the target location, showing all creatures, objects, and events that existed in the area. The effect is similar to Major Image and may fool creatures into thinking it is currently happening if they do not know the spell's purpose. Observers can wander through the illusion and observe things from any angle they choose.

When casting Replay the magician must select the precise moment in time to start showing a scene from. If the moment is more than 24 hours in the past the caster must spend 1xp for each increment of 24 hours it is in the past (so viewing a scene one century old would cost 36,524 xp). Once the Replay starts the caster retains no control over the spell or what it shows.

The spell cannot show an area or creature that was protected from Scrying at the time you are attempting to view, even if the anti-scrying spell is no longer functioning. It can show moments in the past when magic did not function in the area as long as magic functions there now.

Creatures that were attempting to use skills like Hide or Move Silently in the past may go unnoticed in a Replay, depending on the viewpoint of an observer. Things that were invisible in the past are displayed as an invisible illusions, and things that were in darkness cannot be illuminated in the present and may require Darkvision to see.

Why did you give Druids this spell?

Why did you give Druids this spell?

They can cast scrying, I figure this is a natural progression of that.
