Background: The splendid comic book / graphic novel Persepolis, written and drawn by Marjane Satrapi, came out a few years ago. It tells the story of living in Iran during and after the Shah was overthrown, and the country was (is) run by religious zealot control freaks. It is similar to OOTS in that both use artistic tools that appear to be simple, but use them with sophistication and effectiveness, to tell great stories.
Current Event: two expat Iranians borrow images from Persepolis to tell the story of the recent election ....
