All pockets or just the pockets that usually fit your hands?

If just the front pockets:
- Fruit-to-Go wrapper
- $3.05 in change (2 Loonies, 4 quarters, 5 pennies)
- Piece of lint

If all pockets, add:
- Wallet
- Cellphone headphones
- Cellphone attached to said set of headphones
- Sunglasses
- 2 GB SD memory card

Where are the keys, you may ask? Hooked up to my laptop.

"String, or nothing!"

Though seriously $21.60, debit card, driver's license, Barnes & Noble receipt for a latte and a scone, deposit receipt, and my keys. I don't carry a wallet anymore. No need for it.

Right now: nothing.

Normally: phone, wallet.

Keys hang on a clip on my belt.

Phone headphones are connected to the phone but not realllllyyy in my pocket... they're fed through another clip (to stop them getting in the way) and then normally through a strap on my backpack which I carry most places.

Sometimes there's a pen/USB drive in pockets as well.

Office keys, house keys, small Swiss Army knife, $4 in cash, a wallet and a comb.

Now, if you count my front backpack "pocket":

Empty water flask, a spoon, two tops (the kind you spin), a tomato keychain, four large balloons, an extra contact lens case, and a whizzer.

Oh, we're counting pockets in bags that are near us too, eh? That means I get to list more! Hurrah!

Stuff in messenger bag pockets:
- Hellsing: Ultimate Series Vol 4 Limited Edition
- Halo: Combat Evolved (PC version)
- Camera
- Today's and yesterday's Metro Newspaper (Halifax edition)
- Notepad (which contains stuff that I forgot to upload...)
- A Yorkie wrapper
- 2 ink pens
- 1 black pen
[I want to add: The fabled cord needed to upload photos from camera so that he's not using his cellphone's memory card for photos that need uploading... but said cord does not exist. Nope. Never materialised on this plane of existance. *mutter*]

No wonder my bag feels heavier than it did last week... *mutter*

Nothing, seeing as how I just emptied them. However, what came out was a pack of gum, wallet, cell phone, 2 knives (I have a folding utility knife for work as well as my normal carry), pen, flashlight, Motrin (2 foil packs), and pepper spray. If I could find them my keys would be there as well.

In my bag I also have 2 cliff bars, a small leatherman, first aid kit, more pain pills (mostly Excederin), CPR mask, a pen and 2 sharpies, sunscreen, a Nalgene water bottle, and a deck of cards. More goes in depending on what I'm doing - and the sunscreen's not always in there, I just haven't emptied my bag since I went to a pool.

Thigh pockets
$0.60 cents in change
3 cough drops
1 set of ear plugs
my room key
2 GB Flash drive

Back pockets
Wallet
Cell Phone

Leg pockets
2 pairs of Safety glasses (tinted and clear)

and I'm wearing overall bibs, so I have
3 pens, red, blue, black
1 mechanical pencil
2 markers, black and highlighter
ID badge
pocket notebook

yay work!

Well I've got my work pants on now so:
4 small screwdrivers
small pocket knife,
keys to various things (none of which is mine)
a pencil
a pen
a marker
And on my belt I have a flashlight and a leathermen

In 2 hours when I have my normal clothes on it will be:
keys to my stuff
2-3 pens/pencils (not sure how many I have right now)
wallet (with various wallet like things in it, not sure if it has any actual money or not)
maybe a little bit of change (I don't use cash much)
lip balm
gerber tool (like a leathermen but better)
comb (only missing a few teeth)

Thats about it. Might have some miscellaneous pieces of paper, I think I already tossed the burned out light bulbs I needed for my trailer.
I leave my phone at home most of the time because we don't get signal out at work (most of the time, some places will get it) and if I take it with me it runs the battery dead in less then a day looking for the signal.

Normally my pockets contain (while at work):
cell phone
lip balm
change (typically 50 cents or a dollar)
inhaler (just recently)

At the moment, I am wearing pajama pants, so no pockets.

Not at work, I can usually find:
cell phone
lip balm

It's not bad. It's also only 2 inches long (blade out), so take that as you will.

Lessee, wallet with no spendable cash, but a lot of receipts and various cards; minimag flashlight; lots of coins, car keys, and crappy cell phone with failing battery.

Ever since moving, I've fallen out of the habit of carrying any kind of knives, because it's hard to explain why I'm carrying around three of 'em and even moreso to explain why one of them is serrated. It made perfect sense in rural Alaska, but not so much in any place else. (Police presence in AK is more understanding of the outdoorsman lifestyle.)

I was not harming anyone and wasn't breaking any laws, so it was fine. Besides, I had a reputation for being a bit crazy, so people figured it was just me being insane. I never did draw it on anyone in the building (though I was challenged to a fight outside once; I declined).

Erm... I have never been in any school, ever, where they wouldn't confiscate any and all blades as well as anything even remotely resembling blades, right down to non-safety scissors and nail files. This not only includes my primary and secondary education, but university as well, even though universities are on much shakier legal ground doing so. Where did you go to school?

But many places have ordinances specifically prohibiting blades that long. Actually, prohibiting things an awful lot shorter.

I knew a couple of guys who got arrested rehearsing for Romeo and Juliet. They were practicing a fight scene outside the theater, someplace vaguely public, and the local constabulary took exception...

I'm permitted to openly carry a firearm; it would be a little incongruous to start banning blades. :smallamused:

A suburb in Ohio. I know my experience is unusual, since I've never known anywhere that permitted it either. I did get away with it for a little while though.

Note: it was only for a few days that I carried it, so that's probably why it flew for a little while.

I used to carry a knife to school. I think through most of middle school and all of high school, but I can't remember for sure. I've carried my Gerber multitool with me since I got it, which I think was in high school and I know all through college, although I did stop carrying it when I worked at someplace that specific forbid that sort of thing and even had metal detectors at the doors.

I'm sure it would probably be a bigger issue now carrying a knife to school, but it was fairly common when I was going to school. Of course that was a while ago, I think the whole Columbine thing happened my junior or senior year (I think senior), so they weren't as worried about that sort of thing then. Although I wouldn't say it was common, it also wasn't unheard of for people to have guns in their trucks at school, but it wasn't like they were trying to hide them, they just never took them off the rack in the back window. Its a small town though with a very high number of people that did a lot of outdoors activities, so people don't find that sort of thing weird. Of course carrying around a sword would get you a lot more weird looks then carrying around a gun, because they would be out of place.

Here we're just barred from federal and state buildings (includes state schools), and anywhere that properly displays a sign.

HINT: Most places that have an anti-firearm/knife policy don't properly display it.

@ Erloas:
Even with a "Zero Tolerance" policy at my high school, I carried a knife there. I've had a knife on me every day since I was 9. Some teachers knew, and even asked to borrow it on occasion when they needed to open/cut something. I think even with something like Zero Tolerance, teachers know who troublemakers are, and as long as it's not overly advertised, they let the "good" kids slide.

Oh, let's check my backpack. Keep in mind that I take all this crap to school with me when it's not the summer;

-Duct tape
-Packing tape
-Padlock
-Screwdriver
-Lighter (not a cigarette lighter, one of those long, vaguely gun-shaped ones)
-d20
-d8
-Gorilla Glue (half-full)
-Empty glass jar (no label)

This is after I cleaned it out.

Another female here. It's summer, and none of my clothes have pockets.

Pieces of paper with important notes on them - must do something about that
Cigarettes
Two lighters (one of which matches my current manicure)
Work ID / entry card
Sunglasses
Wide-tooth wooden comb with hairband wound onto the end
Bottle of mosquito repellant
Factor 30 sunscreen
Lip balm
Keys
MP3/ Digital voice recorder
3 pens (black)
1 pen (red)
1 pencil
2 paracetamol tablets
4 ibuprofen capsules
one paper clip
7 more hair bands
one rusty hair clip
vanity mirror
one tube antihistamine cream
one tea-tree oil blemish stick
two triple A batteries
one roll of sellotape
passport
bank book
small fabric bag containing 83 different cards (some name cards, some bank / credit cards, some compeletly random)
main bank card
Shanghai public transport card
210 rmb in notes
6.01 rmb in shrapnel
three receipts (one of which I need to use on a work claim-form).
The larger shoulder bag which I often take with me also contains:
Bottle of water
Reading material
two pairs of scissors

Right now I have no pockets. When I wear my denim jacket, I have:

Chapstick (sometimes two, in different flavors)
blue ballpoint pen
a wad of sheep's wool
assorted hair clips

I'm pretty OCD about what I keep in my pockets.

Back Pocket: Wallet
Left Pocket: Swiss Army Knife (http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/images/products/prod_101580.jpg), Inhaler, Cell Phone
Right Pocket: Pen, pencil, lucky Tordek miniature (http://www.snotling.org/modules/MiniTracker/images/dragonqueen/8.jpg) (the first rare D&D mini I ever pulled, and one that has given me good luck for the past couple of year), keys

I also always have my watch on my left wrist, a bracelet of some sort on my right wrist, and my class ring on my right ring finger.
