So my friend pointed out to me the other day that a strict reading of Silent Image (and by extension the upper-level figments based on it) specifies creating an illusion of "an object, creature, or force," singular. I've always been under the impression that an illusion can create, for example, a platoon of soldiers. And given Elan's use of Major Image (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0552.html), I was wondering if my interpretation of illusions was a common one. Thoughts?

At the very least, I could make a good argument for any group of generic things (such as a crowd of people, swarm of insects, ect.) all being one object, at the very least this lets you make a brick wall, as each brick is a different object.

So I would say as long as they could be considered a single unit, then they are one object, otherwise you might get stuck making a single atom.

A Swarm is treated as a single creature for all intents and purposes, so what's to say you're not just making a Swarm of Humans.

Which does exist... I think the angry mob swarm is in the DMG2?
