The Warhammer 40k Thread!

Hello everyone! I've put up his thread so that I can take the pulse of the general 40k world, help people fix peoples problems, and have my questions answered. Just post anything you want to about 40k, and have intelligent conversation about a universe that is bloody mangled with epic war. I have collected an army of Chaos Space Marines, but have found them difficult to paint. What is the easiest army to paint in your opinion?

Not to be that guy, but there are already like 3 other threads devoted to 40k. One for painting (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=91121), one for tactics (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=101608), and one for fluff (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=105150).

Also, I'd say that Necrons aren't really that difficult to paint well if you are going for their default theme.
