Also, I might just be missing it, but I don't see the flaws or traits on Huck's character sheet, just the feats he got from those flaws. So I was wondering what those were before the match got underway.

Nice Catch, I forgot to add those in...I'm also not sure where I got that +5 Init...+1 Dex...not sure where that other +4...(if you can figure out where it came from, please let me know :smallsigh:)

Standing with a scroll in hand in Y13, Huck casts the spell off of the scroll (Standard Action).

He then drops the scroll and swiftly casts another spell (Free and Swift Action)

Yeah, I was done, but we should probably get a LoS check in here before we go on to round 2. if they have to do a rewind, I'd rather we not go too far.

Hmmm. Thought we'd be close enough for visual contact by now. But what the hell, he who hesitates is lost. Move to U-13, will decide what else to do after another LoS check.

LOS established as Train steps into U13 with his greatsword.

Huck is in Y13, also with a greatsword.

Train still has a standard action left I believe.

I do wish I'd done my movement differently, waited too long and now I imagine he's buffed up so that he'll either be hard to hit or have attack bonuses on his weapons.

Ready action:

Attack Huck with my big ol' sword if he enters any square I threaten.

I don't think you really had to tell me where you ended up, LoS would have ended before you got there thanks to the cliff.

In the interest of keeping things moving, I'm going to go ahead and go, and if LoS is established I'll just do my turn over on the off-chance it changes my plan.

Guess I miscounted, then. Thanks for the check. Well Huck, let's see if you are buffed up enough to survive getting to me. Odds of a javelin hit aren't great, but I have to try something.

I'm fairly sure K14 does not count as on the planks, as they cover less than half the square. Furthermore, even if it were, it's dirt, not quicksand.

No, they don't. I just was off by a row when I was looking, seeing him in what would actually be L-14. Kinda funny; I had a readied action to scatter them a few rounds ago, but since I think I was in J-14 then, I couldn't have scattered squat.

It's a tough call, because I think I can take him, and this isn't exactly why I signed up. But the match was moving slowly, and since we were the last ones in the first round still going, doesn't seem right to hold up everyone else for however long it could take to see this thing to the end. Plus, to be perfectly honest, I don't want to fight Sparks. I didn't enter this thing to get knocked out immediately by a 4d6 electric death ray, either.

And TheTerran, if you ever want to see what would have happened, I'll gladly agree to an exhibition match, either continuing from this point or starting over.
