Ok, I've always thought jedi get force training as a starting feat. Turns out they don't. Am I'm missing something?

Nope. If you want Force Training, you gotta suck it up and spend your regular feats on it like everyone else.

Or just take the feat and pump a lot into Wisdom.:smallwink:

You will also notice that Force Training is not on the list of bonus feats for the Jedi class. Yes, this WAS intentional. The Emperor knew, as I did, that if a PC ever took that many Force Trainings, they would be a threat to him.

Oh, I just re-read the feat. I thought it just gave you the ability to cast force powers.

Question 2. Is there any way for a jedi to learn "use computer"

Multiclass to a class that gets it and spend a feat on it.

I personally allow someone multiclassing to forsake the usual 1 bonus feat from the additional class' list, and get Skill Training instead, if they so choose.

Yeah, but I'm first level so if I multiclass I have to turn in my lightsaber and cannot continue taking jedi levels sooooo

No.

Jedi is a concept, not a class. You can build a Jedi character without ever taking a level in the Jedi class. You can take the Jedi Knight prestige class without ever taking a level in the Jedi class.

Methinks you need to re-read the rules again. More carefully this time.

Exactly, for example a Driod can't tajke 1st level Jedi because that gives Force Sensitivity.

But a Droid can multiclass to a Jedi since he won't gain it then (you only gain 1 starting ability).

Actually the stated that Droids can start as a Jedi, they just do not gain Force Sensitivity

No . . . it says "You cannot choose the Jedi class"

Droids cannot take the Jedi class at first level. They can multiclass into Jedi and take Simple Weapons (which they likely already have) or Lightsabers with their extra feat, but not force sensitivity.

Okay, yes I was incorrect, I remembered reading in the old Jedi Counseling 106 that they could, just misread it.

oh, but dosen't it also say (about the multiclassing) "The path of the Jedi requires full focus. If you multiclass before 7th level you must return your lightsaber to your master''

"The path of the Jedi requires full focus. If you multiclass before 7th level you must return your lightsaber to your master''
I cannot spot that line in the main book at least. If its one of those silly articles I'd ignore it, goes against the style of the system.

No, it doesn't.

It might be in older editions, but I don't recall if so.

RCR is not compatible with Saga. They resemble each other and have common ancestry, but I wouldn't recommend using it as a guide.

To expand on Astral above: They are both d20 games, but so are 3.5e and 4e D&D.

Saga is designed with multiclassing in mind, base classes are intended to be a very generic bundle of abilities, not roleplay rules. You'll find no mechanically illiterate Barbarians in SWSaga.
