Help creating elemental adepts? [3.5e Base class]

The book Dragon Magic mentions creating elemental adepts, but I'm not entirely sure how to make one. It's certainly an idea that's appealed to me.

I'm guessing one could base it off of the warlock and dragonfire adept, but I have no clue as to how. Any ideas, O playgrounders?

As the book says. Just change the name of abilities granted by the dragonfire adept class to evoke "elemental" as opposed to "dragon." :smallsigh:
