Energy Drain took the slot away before he could use it. Not sure what the Epic spell would have been.

i believe he didn't have any left. if he did, possibly and epic tele taking xklon and tha amulent into the snares mouth

I recall there used to be a large thread speculating on this very topic. What could it be? Something very destructive, I'd wager. Like setting fire to everything in a 20-mile radius. Or perhaps the Epic Flare thing.

If you thought you "missed" it, why didn't you just look back through the last 20 strips to verify that it was in fact not cast? This isn't like TV, where you miss it and you're screwed, you can always look back in the archives.
