Hallo...

I can't take it out of my head... That spell that damages the target for damage per spell level of buff active. It was mentioned on the forums these days, but I can't find the thread for the love of internet-d&d-jesus.

Reciprocal Gyre.

However, there are two versions - one in Spell Compendium and one in Complete Arcane (IIRC). They work very differently.

An awesome spell for dealing with buffed up spellcasters. The CA version is a bit stronger during lower levels, when casters have fewer buffs, while the SC is better at higher levels.

It doesn't depend on your CL so it is a great spell for scrolls.

The best part is, if you are annoyed with your persistent buffing cleric, you whip it out once at your players and they get very concerned, very fast.
