Feat: Unyielding
Prerequisite: Iron Will

When the player fails an ability score check for physical abilities only (STR, CON, or DEX), the player can, through sheer stubbornness, attempt an immediate repeat of the ability check by making a will save with DC 20. On success, the repeated check has an additional +2 modifier, but at the end of the round the player takes 1d4 - 1 points of ability damage to the ability that was used in this manner.

I'd limit it to just Strength and Con... I don't see stubborness helping you with a Dex check.

"Damn, I wasn't fast enough to dodge that fireball... but I will NOT GIVE UP... Hnrrrrnggggggg.... *Patcheww!*"

I like it. You don't often see straight ability checks, so its usefulness is limited, but it might be nice to have. It's no Improved Initiative, of course, but still.
