View Full Version : Help with my 3.5 D&D char...... Artificer / Techsmith Brain in a Jar

Hello, first time poster long time OotS reader with a D&D question for you all.
So the idea is I wanted to play Krang from the TMNT and will be joining up with a campaign soon. 3.5 and with 24 levels to start with.

Brain in a Jar, need help with lvl adjustment, 3 Monstrous HD and no level adjustment listed so is it only 3 levels?

Secondly what skills / feats / base classes would one take to maximize my ability to create a gondsman (which will house the BiaJ) and all the ultra-fancy weapons I'll make for him / upgrade him. Just can't really make out what the difference between the Weaponsmithing, Armorsmithing, Blacksmithing and Metalworking skills are. And is there anything else I should take notice of?

I'm just guessing, but if I were to allow a BiaJ as a player character, I'd keep the 3 racial hit dice and add a level adjustment of either +1 or +2, erring on the side of +2.
