That Goblin is Redcloak, and the "Revolution" talks about his long term goal to set up a goblinoid nation, equal to elves and dwarves.

The goblin is Redcloak. (http://www.cafepress.com/orderofthestick/6255377) He's revolting against the humans (Azure city) who oppressed his people for years.

Start of Darkness spoiler:

More broadly, he's trying to get goblins out from their role as xp for low level adventurers and bring a goblin utopia to the world.

And the imagery is meant to mimic the iconic Che Guevara poster.

As can be seen here. (http://www.thechestore.com/prodimages/shirts/1020-large-Che-Guevara.jpg) (random t-shirt link chosen)

Really, Che shirts/posters have (almost) reached the point of Beyond Parody thanks to their ubiquitousness the last few years. It's almost too easy to take the mickey out of people wearing those shirts/putting up those posters.

Almost. :smalltongue:

And here (http://cartoonbank.com/assets/1/69210_m.gif) is a picture of Che Guevara in a Bart Simpson t-shirt.

If this isn't the ultimate in Mickey Taking (http://www.freerefill.de/blog/pix/che_che.jpg), it's got to be pretty darn close. :smallamused:

Its making fun of old Soviet Style propaganda. Their colour was red and their posters had Stalin and/or Lennin on them looking dramatic, strong, and thoughtful. Because Redcloak's colour is red he was the obvious choice for a Mock Soviet Style T-shirt.

Also Soviets were the result of the communist revolution.

I want an Adam Smith t-shirt like that. That would be hilarious.

And congrats on missing the entire rest of the thread pointing out that the shirt is specifically parodying Che Guevara t-shirts, which is at least a U.S. cultural phenomena.
