For the last 2 weeks, I've been assuming that for some reason, this site had gone down, because each time I tried it, I would get timeouts. This continued for a while until I noticed that there had been no discussion about it on any other forum I searched, so I assumed maybe it wasn't down at all. I can now access the page from an internet proxy, but not directly from my computer. Now that I knew the problem was in some way the connection between my ISP and the site, I ran a traceroute to see just how far my requests are getting:

12 so-1-1-0.mpr1.dca2.us.above.net (64.125.31.186) 163.744 ms 155.005 ms 143.818 ms
13 ge-2-0-0.mpr3.iah1.us.above.net (64.125.25.114) 176.046 ms 173.951 ms 175.549 ms
14 xe-1-1-0.er1.iah1.above.net (64.125.26.222) 175.007 ms 171.213 ms 192.256 ms
15 209.66.99.94.available.above.net (209.66.99.94) 173.891 ms 170.428 ms 170.859 ms
16 et5-4.ibr04.dllstx3.theplanet.com (70.87.253.53) 176.431 ms 174.503 ms 173.914 ms
17 te9-2.dsr02.dllstx3.theplanet.com (70.87.253.30) 173.913 ms 190.035 ms 178.593 ms
18 * * *
19 te6-1.car13.dllstx6.theplanet.com (70.87.254.238) 184.176 ms 193.801 ms 194.772 ms

After which point, it always times out. It's not always exactly the same IP that I end up timing out on, but it is always within the 'theplanet.com' domain. A ping from an online web service revealed that they are the ones responsible for the website hosting, so it's looking like on some level my IP block is being denied service.

This is most likely due to bogon filtering (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bogon_filtering) and means you will need to contact your ISP to get it fixed. That is the preferred method as you are their customer and they are more likely to respond to your requests.

There is certain information that you can provide me with, which I will pass on to our hosting company, who will then in turn contact your ISP. But I don't have that list at hand at the moment.

Thanks, I contacted my ISP and they said they'd get back to me about it. Hopefully they'll be able to resolve the problem. I'll follow this up with the results.
