Phantom of the Opera Werewolf II

This is the account of Count Philippe de Chagny, brother to Raoul, Viscount de Chagny. In this account, I will tell the story of the Opera Ghost, and how my brother dealt with this specter. To start with, I will tell, in brief, the story of the first attempt to deal with this phantom. It ended poorly, with the Opera House belonging completely to the Opera Ghost. However, Madame Giry, who had earned the trust of this phantom in some way, managed to rescure my brother and his love, Christine Daaé, from him. They also found Carlotta, who had miraculously survived being electrocuted. After escaping from the Opera House, they rounded up the remaining cast, summoned more police and getting André and Firmin to come back, they stormed the Opera House, reclaiming it for the public. However, the Phantom is still on the loose, and his plans are still going.

The Roles:
Good Guys: Win when all wolves are dead, extra win if both Christine and Raoul are alive at the end of the game.
Christine Daaé: The rising star of the Paris Opera, and the love of both the Phantom and Raoul. Day Baner with 2 day cooldown, extra win condition for wolves

Raoul: The Viscount de Chagny, patron of the Paris Opera house. He is able to protect himself and others from the Phantom's wrath. Baner

André and Firmin: The new managers of the Opera house, they know each other role, but if one dieds, the other goes with him. Partners/lovers

Carlotta: The prima donna of the paris opera, and is very jealous of Christine's sucess. Vain and self-focus, she thinks that she can tell the real identity of people, but she is not often right. Fool

Police: The police summoned by Raoul to trap the Phantom. They know each other. Masons

Cast: The cast of the opera house. They just want to survive this madness. villagers

Madame Giry: Head of the ballet, she knows about the Phantom, and the opera house, and with this being the night of the Seer

Wolves: Win when other roles are equal to number of living wolves. Extra win: Christine lynched or night killed.

Shadows: The hiding places of the Phantom. wolves

Head of Fire: A firely head, that wanders the opera house. Its eyes of fire can see the identity of people. Devil

The Phantom: The Phantom of the Opera himself.
Alpha, special: If lynched, the role of the Phantom moves to a shadow.

A young man in good looking tailored suit appeared on scene near Jean Claude

"Oh fear not, monsieur Jean Claude. While I cannot help you with dancing, I'll do my best to help you, if you'll forget your line. Oh but where are my manners?"

Young man extended his hand toward Jean Claude.

"My name is Jaques Montferrat. I'm the new prompter. The last one... 'disappeared', or at least that's what they told me, when I was applying for job here. I didn't know what they meant though..."

Meanwhile a dancer of some sort trip near both of them.

Murska, late at night, tries a little singing.

"The Phantom! Help!"

Murska runs, out of the opera house, onto a train, and then takes a boat to England.

One member of the cast, Darkcomet, wandered inside the opera house late last night.

Okay, I hadn't wanted to expose this for fear that it would make me look suspicious, but I think that I have pretty solid evidence that Geesi is a wolf. I was in touch with several people, including Fleeing Coward and billtodamax. Last night, billtodamax received the following PM from Geesi:

Hey there!

I'm in contact with an (alleged) seer who says s/he's scried you as a lover. I'm figuring that even if they aren't really a seer, you're probably pretty safe because if you weren't that would be giving the villager network the identities of two wolves.

Anyway, could I ask who your partner is?

Now, the Seer is also part of our network, and we know that he had not contacted Geesi. Billtodamax is in fact a lover (the fact that someone outside our network knows indicates that he's been scried by the devil, so I see no harm in revealing this). Thus, either Geesi is a wolf trying to get in with the lovers, or he was somehow tricked by the devil. It's pretty obvious that the real seer would have contacted someone they scried as a lover directly, instead of using a proxy, so I seriously doubt that Geesi would have fallen for a trick like that.
To top things off, Bill sent his reply to this PM to me, FC, and Geesi, thus alerting Geesi to the fact that FC and I were part of the network.
So that's the evidence I have. Bill can back up my story when he appears. What do you think, guys?

Lizard Lord

Er.

I wanted to check that I was really talking to a seer, and wanted to confirm their story with their supposed scry target, and then add that to my information. Even villagers get trust issues sometimes, you know.

Well, presumably I can give his network the identity of the person who contacted me - Blue sticking his neck out this far to take me down suggests that he's probably not a wolf.

Not that I'm ruling out the idea. I'll have to consider it.

Jontom Xire
2009-07-30, 02:56 AM
I can't believe Billtodamax CCed when he should have BCCed! Oh well.

Geesi. If he was tricked he deserves to be lynched for being so dumb as to be a seer's proxy to a lover. But in fact I doubt it because if he was tricked then that most likely means that a wolf got the info from the Devil and passed it to Geesi pretending to be the seer and co-ordinating a chain that long is too hard. Most likely Geesi is a wolf.

2009-07-30, 10:06 AM
I'm a more likely wolf? Really?

I'm not entirely convinced by Blue Ghost's evidence against Geesi, it depends who told Geesi the relevant information. I'm even less convinced by BG's "the information is obviously known by someone outside our network" justification. This is the sort of suspicion that should have been discussed with trusted people (e.g. the aforementioned network) by PM, rather than announced publicly to everyone in the game thread.
Be that as it may, I don't think Blue Ghost is a wolf. Geesi could be a wolf, though I'm not really sure. Got to point at someone though. If he's not a wolf, I strongly recommend Geesi passes on the identity of his informant to Blue Ghost or billtodamax.

Or me, since obviously I'm totally trustworthy and should clearly be added to the network. Please? :smalltongue:

Blue Ghost

No evidence, bandwagon started purely based on his RP posts dismissing the idea of the Phantom. The reason we're all going for him now is that he was the alternative bandwagon to Geesi, who we now believe is innocent.

Reverse psychology is for wolves, Crimmy. I know because I feel guilty of every cast member lynched by us.

DIRECTOR OF THE OPERA: (Laughs Sarcastically) Oh! HE says he feels guilty about my death! Well, of course, he should feel guilty! He stabbed me, after all! Kill each other, all of you. We'll never have a rehearsal again, after all. I'm dead, both prima donnas gone, the prompter left. Time for this company to be destroyed for the last time! (Laughs Manically)

I don't and won't feel guilty. It is just a game. I don't except anyone to feel guilty about my in-game death. In WW games it is expected for a few villagers to get lynched before we get the bad guys.

End of Day/Hour 5

Well, the cast rushed down into the depths of the opera house, looking for the phantom.
Then one of the cast said he was a wolf, so they rushed the poor man to the hospital, after all, there are no wolves here.

Crimmy was lynched, he was a member of the cast.

Night/Hour 5 begins and ends in twenty-four hours.

(Here is something important, I need someone willing to take over narratoring for me, as I will gone from the playground for a year on friday.)

Okay, we lynched a cast member, but I don't feel guilty. I feel annoyed. It's not good form to claim to be a wolf and get yourself lynched while we're still in the game, Crimmy. :smallannoyed:

Told ya NOT to lynch me.
I said it before even claiming to be a wolf.
Nobody ever listens, so there.
Next time, maybe you'll listen to reason?
I think my defense was solid...
I mean, how many wolves will claim to be wolves just to save themselves from being hanged?

Huh? How would claiming to be a wolf help save you in any instance? Saying "I'm a wolf" is equivalent to saying "lynch me." If you had not claimed to be a wolf, you probably would not have been lynched, and even if you had, I'd be a lot less annoyed at you.

André and Firmin were walking down the Opera house, making sure nobody was there.

-Did you hear about that poor loony that claimed to be a werewolf?
-Yes, poor guy. The stress must have gotten to him.
-I couldn't agree more.
-(Both)*Gasp* Hel-!

Billtodamax was killed. He was Firmin.
Thufir dies as well. He was André.

Dear André what a splendid party,
The prologue to a bright new year,
Quite a night, I'm impressed,
Well one does one's best,
Here's to us!
I must say, all the same, that
it's a shame that 'Phantom'
fellow isn't he- what is it Andre?
The Phantom is here! The Phantom-
Oh dear.

Oh, and you mean 'killed', or 'taken by the Phantom' or 'driven away' or something, rather than 'lynched'. Lynching is only in the day.

Like MOD. Whom I still suspect for trying to lynch a declared innocent (and confirmed!). As well as pushing the wagon on me now.

I'm unwilling to point at Rein because he seems to have a network set up and if it's for good it'd be damn shame to lose him. He also seemed pretty willing to wait for evidence on Gessi earlier.
However a lot of named people have died lately, which means something is going down or the wolves are getting lucky. I really haven't been in enough WW games to know.

Oh hell I'm gonna go with MOD, too. If Rein does end up being the Phantom I'm gonna feel like an idiot.

Reinholdt, I am fairly sure, is the Phantom.

Why do you think he is the Phantom?

I have my suspicions on Reinholdt as well. May be wrong though.

What are these suspicious based off of?

These people are not just random voters. They at least claim to have a genuine reason for voting the way they are. They just won't tell us what it is.:smallannoyed:
If you guys actually have a good reason why you are voting the way you are tell us. I can assure you it will help out the town.

Anyways I suppose I should at somebody. Alright I am going to roll a six sided die.
1-2 I will point at Banjo
3-4 I will point at Dirk Kris
5-6 I will point at Blue Ghost

I rolled a 4. Should Dirk Kris actually give a reason why he voted the way he did I will change my vote to one of the others (unless they also gave a reason.)
