A great selection and a hard choice to make.
588 is good for Argent's teeth.
589 for Elan's entrance.
590 for gender equality.
But I vote for 587... "I'm a goddamn baby-making, life-taking machine!" :smallcool:

Sanguine

Ah, this brings back some good memories. Many good ones to choose from: 587, 589, 590. I had to read them many times before eliminating two. The jokes in all of them were great, I loved Kazumi's rage and the running gag with Daigo. I guess 589 stole the show by a fraction. Both Elan and Daigo in the last panel were awesome.

Such a tough decision....589 was so fun especially with Elan's entracne, but I'll go with 587 for Kazumi getting a little spotlight and a great line.

It was a really close thing, but I'm gonna give it to 589 over 587, mostly because it's funnier.

Please, could you complete the number there, so your vote can be counted more easily? Thanks

They were all good, but 587 has to win.

588 for this reason:
Shojo: It's not my fault, you said you could feed him table scraps!!
Hinjo: A 20 lbs tub of strawberry frosting does not qualify as a table scrap!!
Shojo: Then you haven't been eating at the right tables!!

587 is great, I like the badass Kazumi, but I go for 590. Elan and Therkla for the win! "He knows that he can prove that he suspects." And gender equality of course.

So I vaguely recalled reading the thread earlier when finding out when to check when the polls closed and seeing 588 taking an early lead before 587 got a single vote and I fully expected to be saying "In retrospect, I should have seen 588's popularity coming". And then I go to count the votes and 587's first vote is earlier than I remember and we have the landslide I predicted with 586 failing to wrangle a single vote. I misread 590's appeal next to not only 588 but also 589 (which I considered to be only a dark horse, and it did place third) which proved to be a little more popular; maybe its crowd liked 587 more.

It's starting to get good now. 591 has V being awesome and Durkon being worried because he didn't say "I told ye so", 592 is similar to 590, but 593 has the big death scene and would be the favorite and a strong contender at BotQ and maybe BotH... if it weren't for 595's "Disintegrate. Gust of Wind". I wouldn't be surprised if the other three strips combined for three or fewer votes with 594 receiving none despite being half-decent, while 593 and 595 have an epic battle for supremacy. In my view, the former is stronger on its own merits and I would expect it to still win, while the latter is stronger in its long-term importance.
