I have fond memories of Team Aerial Combat. I really need to get around to reinstalling the game and seeing if the old guard -- [SPAM], ^v^ and the like -- are still around.

I love it! Don't play it much anymore, but I have very fond memories of it. There was this one mod that made the gravcycle into a heavy bomber...:smallbiggrin: Good times...

Ahhh, good times.

It might've been the sequel (I think there was a sequel?) but I remember when everybody was using that silly explosive discus launcher and energy packs. You could take out the entire enemy team with a shield pack and a chaingun because their projectiles were so slow. :smallsmile:

I played it a bit. I was utterly god-awful at it, and usually wound up giving up and just running around repairing things or taking control of the turrets. Ironically, this tended to give me one of the highest scores on the server since I was the only one not running around shooting mortars at people.

Well, I used to play a lot of Tribes 2 back in the day, particularly one mod called Meltdown 2...

I still maintain that Meltdown 2 + Tribes 2 is THE best multiplayer FPS of all time.
