Class Name: Minister

Description: Ministers are an odd clerical class. Ministers worship Overgods(such as Lord Ao) or Dead Gods that are not a Dead Power(Iyachtu Xvim) and sometimes Quasi-Deities(Tchazzar). The Overgods do not need worshipers so simply they ignore calls for power, and the Dead Gods are trapped in their own afterlife's are unable to give their followers the power they ask for.

Though uncommon there are Ministers of nonexistent gods or Ministers who secretly get people to worship him/her simply by another name.

Alignment: Any

Adventuring: Ministers are fair fighters and spell casters so they are not completely useless fighters but are mainly in a group for healing.

Source of Power: Many ministers Draw power from the Elemental Plains. Others Artifacts, Some even by essences of the god they worshiped such as often interacting with the body of their Deity. The Souls of Ancestors are also a possible power source in the case os ancestor-worship.

Gods that fit into the worship of Ministers:
*The DM
*The Overdeity Lord Ao
*Iyachtu Xvim, son of Bane(Dead)
*The Red Dragon Tchazzar(Quasi)
*The Blue Dragon Gestaniius(Quasi/Dead)
*The Green Dragon Skuthosiin(Quasi/Dead)
*Leira, lesser goddess of deception and illusion(Dead)
*World Serpent: Former god of the sarrukh(Dead)
*All Dead Deities

Still going through alot of details

Wouldn't this be just an ur-priest variant?

Hmmm.... So would they still use divine magic? It would just come from sources other than their chosen "deity" (I put it in quotes since they worship unusual deity sorts)? As far as "Alignment: Any", shouldn't it be related to their deity's, like a cleric's is?

It is. the any just mean that the class is not restricted to LE or such.
