All of the toilets in my house just spontaneously exploded. (The water part, not the porcelain part.) Some weird rumbling. And a lot of towels over half of the bathrooms to dry it.

Sorry, had to burp. And since I live in the sewers below your house, well, I'm sure you can figure out the rest... :smalleek:

That'd be awesome if it weren't such a pain to clean up.

Any major construction in the nearby area? Sounds like something overpressurized the system, instead of merely clogging it up. In any case, ew and I hope nobody was sitting on any of them at the time.

I agree with the poltergeist guy. Got any angry teenagers at your house, or Indian burial grounds?

That'd be awesome if it weren't such a pain to clean up.

I have to say that was pretty much my third response.

FIRST RESPONSE: WHAT THE FLIP
SECOND RESPONSE: Oh god they're coming for me
THIRD RESPONSE: I can't wait to tell someone on the internet
FOURTH RESPONSE: Agh, I'm gonna have to clean this up

No one was sitting on any of them, though my mother misunderstood my startled cry of "WAUGH THE TOILETS ARE OVERPRESSURIZED" as "WAUGH THE BOILERS ARE OVERPRESSURIZED" and immediately freaked out about the house being on fire.

Was that the first thing you yelled? As in, your reaction to the incident.
You'd make a mighty fine steamboat captain with lines like that

Yeah, it was. I liked trying to impress adults with big words as a kid and now it's a natural reaction. And I never say curse words aloud as an instinct. Though I'd prefer flying a plane to a boat anyday.

Are we talking about those toilets that suck the waste away (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNWuVqLHoSc&) or the kind that washes it away (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IV2Zm7VbRvw) like a waterfall.

The common toilet flush differs depending on where you are geographically. And no, not because of the whole clockwise-anitclockwise thing.

The former, Mr. Crocogod. The former.

I feel like an evil laugh right now for some reason.

I'd say there's something strange in your neighborhood.

I suggest you call someone...
Ghostbusters!
...perhaps whoever is in charge of plumbing where you live?

Was it raining hard? If so, it could be an outside drain being flooded which causes backdraft through the pipes. I have that in my apartment and it's damn annoying. When it pours I've got the impression there's someone gargling in my bathroom.

I am actually sorta reminded of ghostbusters for some reason i dont know why. It has been forever since i have seen those movies, so my memory of them is a little hazy.

Ah, I see you and your family are likely sims in the Sims 2 world. Just a case of toilet monkies; nothing serious.
