And most people are going "Who?"
If you'll excuse me, I'll just sit over here and mourn the passing of a legend. :'(

No replies, and only forty-two views... hey, come on, this is COLIN THIELE, people! You know, Colin Thiele?
No.

Well, you know, TEACHERS aren't as important as very visible icons of enviromentalism. Not even to mention Thiele was a soldier, or an childrens author.
You know...::)
I mourn the passing of any worthwhile authors; Children authors twice so.

I was gonna reply. I even started a couple attempts. I just couldn't come up with anything that sounded remotely comforting to you in your moment of grief.
How's;
My condolences on your loss. May he be remembered and cherished in your heart for all time.

*Raises glass* I never knew who he was, but from what I just read he seems to have been a good educator and author.
((I never knew that Media Discussions was the death and depression forum when I signed up for it))

I'll admit I didn't know who was either.
Sounds like he had a good inning though, with some fantastic achievements, not to mention kids, grandkids, and a great-grand kid. Doesn't make his passing much better, but its good to know that he had a fulfilling life.
