I've heard alot about this game but can't find it in my local game shop. Is it good?

I think he means the board game. (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/30549) It's OK - a nice, simple mechanic for a cooperative game that doesn't take very long. I'm not sure it has all that much replayability, however.

Be careful if you play this board game as it is very addictive.

Very, very easy to play, but impossible to beat or to put down.

Must have played it at least 15 times on Sunday afternoon (at the highest level) and was hosed on each occasion.

Works well with 2, 3 or 4 players.

The board game is pretty awesome. Everytime I've played it I've had a ton of fun.

I got pandemic for a birthday a while back, and Ive found it has good and bad points:

Its a co-operative game, which means that its very easy to get my non-gamer friends to play with me (because for 90% of other games, I always win, because Im a "hardcore gamer").

On the flip side, it feels like most games are determined through luck rather than skill. This infuriates me greatly. To use a very rough analogy, I love freecell, and pandemic is solitaire.

My non-hardcore-gamer friends love it. Personally, I refuse to touch the thing unless I have to. There are (imo) much, much better games out there (settlers, carcassonne, etc). But sometimes its just nice to have a game everyone can play.

No, but very hard and it depends a lot on luck. Just like that LotR board game :smallfurious:
Very addictive though, just be sure to never play it with people who don't take losing very well.
