PLEASE HELP.

A couple weeks ago, I finally figured out, my laptop caught System Protect 2009. I have not touched it since, purely by coincidence. Checking my laptop now, I have found that:

-cannot run system restore
-cannot run .exe
-cannot open webpages pertaining to the treatment of SP09

However, I haven't been able to catch the systprot2009.exe in action.
It is neither in my hard drive or noted in the registry. I really need to clean this thing out and get my laptop running smooth again. Any help is greatly appreciated, but please note, I am a total amateur and may be totally confused by anything you say.

I suggest before doing anything you make a backup of your files.

-cannot open webpages pertaining to the treatment of SP09

Then I'll copy it here, shall I?
