Up to you. I'm fine with up to, say, 5 rounds and all days?

Talic

Ok, I go first. With True Seeing, what do I see?

Talic
2009-08-05, 04:59 PM
Orc with wings, and a 2 handed sword. Wearing a chain shirt.

Milskidasith
2009-08-05, 05:01 PM
Huh. Well, I'll cast a Dispel Magic on you; how many things need to be dispelled?

EDIT: Also, do you auto succeed on spellcraft checks of any spell, or will we need to roll them?

Talic
2009-08-05, 05:05 PM
I auto fail them ;).

And roll 10 checks, I'll put them in order, highest caster level to lowest, and then alphabetical.

Milskidasith

Fine then.

Also, a question. How high is the atmosphere/arena out of bounds limit considered, assuming I stay directly over the arena?

EDIT: Also, I just had a really good idea, but I don't have my character prepped for that. Ah well.

Talic
2009-08-05, 05:11 PM
100 feet good?

EDIT: And no noticable change.

Milskidasith
2009-08-05, 05:12 PM
100 feet? Ugh... there goes my plan. I could have sworn I saw somebody go over 100 feet in one of the matches, once.

Talic
2009-08-05, 05:17 PM
I'm asking, and when it's not set, I do.

Milskidasith
2009-08-05, 05:18 PM
Well my plan was to teleport as far up as possible and wait you out. That would probably be exceedingly boring or involve a lot of fast forwarding.

Talic
2009-08-05, 05:21 PM
If that's your plan, then:

1) you'll need a lot of waiting.
2) it's incredibly cheesy, as a primary tactic.
3) I usually, in such instances, wait 10 rounds, then continue on my merry way, and consider myself the victor.

Milskidasith
2009-08-05, 05:21 PM
Yeah, I can understand that. Well, your turn, I guess.

Talic
2009-08-05, 05:25 PM
Fly to N10.

Done.

Milskidasith
2009-08-05, 05:29 PM
Well I'm pretty much screwed. Fly to B16. Done.

Talic
2009-08-05, 05:37 PM
Fly to C16. As I reach 10 feet from you, every magical effect, buff, and item you have dissipates under my AMF.

Your turn.

Milskidasith
2009-08-05, 05:41 PM
Blech. I'm screwed, and there is no way I can make this last long enough to keep out of your AMF without teleportation. So yeah, I'll attempt to step out of the AMF to the northeast (A13), take your AoO.

Talic
2009-08-05, 05:52 PM
Touch attack: [roll0]
If hit, opposed grapple: [roll1]
If success: [roll2] nonlethal

Milskidasith
2009-08-05, 05:54 PM
Well I'm dead (no way to escape the grapple). That was... fun?

Talic
2009-08-05, 05:55 PM
lol. I hadn't yet raged. My weakness is people who hide. Try Invisibility, or the like.

Milskidasith
2009-08-05, 05:57 PM
Invisibility still wouldn't last long enough to get past your AMF; I'd need a pretty huge amount of castings of it.

Talic
2009-08-05, 06:04 PM
Ring of invisibility is another option.

Milskidasith
2009-08-05, 06:09 PM
And it would have only taken us a few RL weeks of posting for your AMF to wear off so I would actually be able to fight. And that's assuming you only had one scroll. It would have been faster just to figure out how long it took you to fly 1000 miles up. >_>

Talic
2009-08-05, 06:13 PM
I have 20 scrolls.

Milskidasith
2009-08-05, 06:15 PM
So how would that fight go down? A few years of posting if I manage to avoid your searching the entire time, or me getting killed anyway if not.

Your character is yet another weakness I've found about my character. >_<

Talic
2009-08-05, 06:26 PM
AMF is a universal weakness of casters.

Orb of X and invisibility, do ya a load of good.

Milskidasith
2009-08-05, 06:30 PM
Can clerics even cast orbs?

Anyway, yeah, the AMF is going to be a big problem, always. I want to fight Claudius again; I think I have a shot now.

"Anyspell" will get em for you.
There's other ways too.

"Extra Spell" is not list specific.
