Hey, my normal D&D group is getting a little tired of the same thing month after month, so I thought I'd spice it up some and add a Shadowrun campaign into the mix. However, I've seen around the web a lot of people don't seem to like 4e for it. I was just wondering if anyone could elaborate on the differences between the two.

These recent threads may help: Considering Shadowrun (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=117940) and Thinking about starting Shadowrun (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=119054).

To sum up, 4e has (generally) smoother mechanics but loses some of the Cyberpunk feel of previous versions. Pick the one you prefer, but remember 4e is the supported version...if support and new products are important to you.

Whichever you choose, enjoy!

Are there actually published Shadowrun materials for 4e? I've never seen them.
