sephiroth while studying the ancients and other Shinra company experiments in the Shinra mansion basement, became curious of a locked door. upon breaking the door down, the room contained several coffins. most of which were empty, but one contained... a vampire? sephiroth kicks the coffin, to awake said vampire.

[Xsesiv]

Vincent Valentine, a six-footer dressed in red and black sits up in the coffin and his long black hair falls down his back. Armed with a large multi-barrelled gun he looks around, and spots Sephiroth. He clicks the safety off. "Who are you? And more importantly, who do you think you are?"

"who are you to be asking whom i may be? i am Sephiroth, soldier, first class" Sephiroth says, his hand casually on the hilt of his sword, the masamune.

[Xsesiv]

Vincent climbs out of his coffin and snaps the safety back on his gun, convinced the soldier is not here to kill him. He would have done it in his sleep. "Great. I'm Vincent. And what are you doing here? Don't I get a moment's peace?"

[littlebottom]

"i could ask you the same thing, why are you here? and about that moments peace........ how long have you been in here alone? i am here because i am researching... my past." Sephiroth looks away with disgust at the bit about his own past. clearly there is something about it he doesnt like.

[Xsesiv]

"Funnily enough, I was thinking about my past. I've been in here for years, thinking about it. I'd rather you left, so I could get on with it."

[littlebottom]

"hmmm, fine, but im sure your past isnt quite the same as i have found out mine to be... my life? an experiment. i was bread to be the ultimate warrior, son of a god, whom came to this planet aeons ago, i have lived a relatively normal life... excluding my greatness at everything, haha, up untill recently... i discovered, my mother, was jenova, a god... my father... Sephiroth spits violently "a scientist, whom came up with the idea of creating me from cells of a dead god... jenova. soooo how about you?" Sephiroth says in a tone to say "beat that one"

Vincent clambers back into his coffin. "I was a human, a spy. I died. I came back - was brought back - as this." He pulls the coffin lid back on. From inside, comes a muffled "Go away."

[littlebottom]

Sephiroth looks over the coffin with an inquisative eye "a spy? with Shinra perhaps?"

[Xsesiv]

Vincent pushes the coffin lid ajar with his feet and looks out. "No, the Turks. Why do you want to know? You know what, I don't care. Goodbye." He slams the coffin lid down again.

[littlebottom]

"turks eh?" Sephiroth rips the lid open, "seems like shinra did a number on the both of us, i feel you should come with me, we have alot more in common that meets the eye it would seem"

at that moment, a loud roar is heard from above the basement... "come with me now, it seems we have a guest"

[Xsesiv]

"Brilliant. Really excellent. After 20 years I'm greeted by a nosy half-god and a huge monster." Vincent clambers out of the coffin, shakes some dust off himself and draws his gun. "Lead on.".

[littlebottom]

Sephiroth smiles at the gun. before heading off with a high amount of glee for someone about to attack a dragon. leading the way back up the stairs to the main mansion, and exiting the main doors, reviels a dragon entering town from the mountine trail that runs past the side of the mountine. "over here!"

[Xsesiv]

Vincent takes cover behind a house and brings up his gun. "You have a plan? Or can I just shoot from here?"

[littlebottom]

"plan? you mean kill it? yes, ive got a plan, it goes like this.... kill it."

Sephiroth draws his impressive masamune, and waves it about a couple of times, psyching himself up for the initial attack.

[Xsesiv]

"Great." Vincent brings up his gun and aims from around the corner of the house. He fires three shots and ducks back behind the house.

Despairing as his first shots fly by, he nevertheless is relieved when a bullet slams into the dragon's head. He is slightly less relieved when it does not die.

Vincent looks back round the house wall, and seeing the dragon to be too far away to pose a threat, fires another volley at it.

sephiroth bounces away doing a flip from the dragon as it swipes, but the dragon then uses a flame breath attack.

As flames shoot by Vincent missing him by inches, his limit is quite literally broken and he metamorphoses into a demon. The demon rushes up to the dragon and begins chopping at its leg.

as the 8 slashes attack, some miss, but others score deep deep wounds across legs, body and head, the final but one attack cleaves most of the torso in 2, with the final slash finishing the job, cutting the 4 legged beast into 2, 2 legged dead beasts.

Vincent transforms back into the vampiric Vincent, and goes up to the creature. Satisfied it is dead, he heads back to the mansion, looking to spend another quiet couple of decades.

"where are you going? this was fun, dont you want to come with me? your life will be much more eventful, and you still have time to think, i will travel far and wide across the world." Sephiroth says while sheathing his sword

[Xsesiv]

"Fine..." Vincent holsters his gun and follows Sephiroth.

[littlebottom]

"ahh, the world is at our feet!.... fancy killing some more dragons up the nearby mountines, theres somewhere i want to go on the other side." Sephiroth doesnt wait for a reply but swiftly heads off down the mountine trail.

[Xsesiv]

Vincent glides along behind him with his gun hand ready to draw. After a few minutes in the mountains, he actually speaks up. "Where are you - we - going?"

[littlebottom]

"theres a town on the other side of the mountines, called rocket town, thus named because of the rocket that was built there to go into space, but i want to go there because i hear shinra are heading there... shall we?"

[Xsesiv]

"We shall." Stretching 20 years of stiffness out of his limbs Vincent follows along towards Rocket Town. Two large bulbous red things come...bouncing?...over the horizon. "What the hell are they?" Panicking, Vincent fires his gun at them.

As Sephiroth chops the one creature and it bursts, the other bounces into the air. As it does so, Vincent releases three shots at it.

the second also explodes above their heads, showering vile fluids all over the duo... "shall we keep moving? i think we have to go through the cave up ahead to get to the other side of the mountines"

Vincent silently wanders down the cave, gun drawn.

in the cave a beast larger than a dragon, with 4 pointed legs, a horn and 2 claw like arms at the front appears to be blocking the exit.

[Xsesiv]

"Do we kill it? Or shall we go round?" Vincent draws his gun, knowing what the answer will be.

[littlebottom]

Sephiroth says "you can go round if you like, i shant stop you" as he draws his sword and charges for the supprise

Sephiroth seems slightly impressed by the beasts strength.

Sephiroth unleashes a vicious sweep with his blade, from which a wave of energy flys out slicing clean through almost anything.

Vincent winces as jolts of pain surge inexplicably through his body. He blasts the gun at the monster hoping to end its concentration, whatever the reason is for the pain, it is obviously of its creation.
