Apologies if this has already been asked and answered.

In 666 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0666.html)
Roy tells us he remembers nothing beyond the gates -- just a happy,
fulfilling blur.

In 670 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0670.html), Roy
tells us he is still recovering from his mom, implying that he does remember
events beyond the gate.

Discrepancy? Or is there an explanation?

If this has already been argued, could someone point me to the right
thread?

Respectfully,

Brian P.

It has come up before. Two things:

(1) Lacking specific memories does not preclude him from having feelings.

(2) Roy talked about it with the Oracle.

It is not entirely consistent, but a little juggling of the facts can make it work.

I think tvtropes says something about this (can't find link) that in situations of memory blur moments of impact (love, disgust, etc.) are remembered.
Or it could only be a joke :smalltongue:

Yeah, blur doesn't mean you remember nothing.
