Dwarf fortress help!

Ok, I downloaded this dwarf fortress game everyones talking about, (from this url: http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/. Ok, no big deal. So I save it to my desktop (windows XP), and then I click on the file, and its zipped. So, how do I activate the game? Im so confused......

b) At a guess, you just need to unzip the file you've downloaded, and that'll give you a game directory containing an exe that you can run. It probably doesn't even require installation, you just run it from wherever you unzip it. At a guess.

I unzipped it after pressing an icon that said "dwarfortress" and it opened the unzipping wizard. I unzipped, pressed again, and played. Anyways thanks, and also this is the second thread in about a week that I have asked a mod to move a thread. I must be trouble to them.
