Is it just me, or is there other people checking Giantitp in the vain hope that there has been an update, and that you don't have to wait until the 31st to get your fix?

In the spirit of that, what can everyone suggest with regards to a similar, D & D based webcomic? I've found goblins, so no need to suggest that one to me either.

Suggestions?

Not D&D but certainly worth checking out is Digger (http://www.diggercomic.com/).

There's also Weregeek (http://www.weregeek.com/), and Darths and Droids (http://darthsanddroids.net/).

Oh, and Yet Another Fantasy Gamer Comic (http://yafgc.shipsinker.com/index.php?strip_id=). (Warning, ocassionaly frequently NSFW)

I also read The Dreamland Chronicles (http://www.thedreamlandchronicles.com/), which is a bit tame and general fantasy rather than D&D, but it updates 5 days a week and the art (CGI 3D renders) is gorgeous.

You can find a whole bunch of other Webcomics at http://topwebcomics.com/.

And if that fails, there's too many comics to count in the Fancomics subforum, a few of which are a pretty decent read.

actually, we have this nice, well-arranged list (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=115481) where you can find this (http://dndorks.com/comics/10%2f15%2f2001.aspx) among other things

Um.. D&D based, I only follow OoTS and Goblins (and Darken). If you can make do with fantasy based, I recommend the following:

Dominic Deegan (http://www.dominic-deegan.com/) (lots of bad puns, about a seer always getting involved in saving stuff (gets epic from time to time), some cool villains).

Girl Genius (http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php) (more steampunk than actual fantasy, but it's awesome).

Gunnerkrigg Court (http://www.gunnerkrigg.com/index2.php) (dunno what this comic even is, except a huge puzzle with stunning artwork and a strange school).

Chasing the Sunset (http://www.fantasycomic.com/) (humour-laden fantasy comic about a small (rather disfunctional) group looking for a disappeared father).

The Phoenix Requiem (http://requiem.seraph-inn.com/) (more historical than fantasy, really, about a religion with spirits and shades. Also, interesting characters and stunning artwork).

Darken (http://www.darkencomic.com/) (D&D based, follows an evil party trying to find some demonic items (shifts from campaign to epic tale along the way, though), awesome characters).

My own comic, Cat's Eyes (http://kittycattygames.comicgenesis.com/links.html), is fantasy based as well, but the others are way better.

Enoy reading!

The Order of Tales (http://www.rice-boy.com/order/) and Rice Boy (http://www.rice-boy.com/see/) are pretty good, nontypical fantasy comics.

Seconded. I'd read Rice Boy first though, considering it's been finished, and is, in my opinion, better. So far, anyway.

Rice Boy and Order of Tales aren't D&D based, but are more than worth your time. I'd recommend reading Rice Boy first, then Order of Tales. Rice Boy is currently complete and establishes the setting used in both comics. Order of Tales is a prequel not connected to the events of Rice Boy but set in the same world with a few characters from RB appearing in OoT. Both comics are veeeery good in my opinion.

I just found Looking for Group (http://www.lfgcomic.com/) yesterday, as well. It's more WoW-based than D&D but it's pretty cool.

Also, Skeppio, that is THE coolest avatar I have ever seen :smalltongue:

Huh, how come nobody mentioned Anti-HEROES (http://antiheroescomic.com/comic) yet? D&D based, OotS style art, about to reach number 200 (so, plenty to occupy some time). Not as well written as OotS, but still funny and interesting

Wow, thanks. I had never checked these ones. I'm hooked now.
