A technical Mozilla questiong for the playground

I want to be able to save a copy of my bookmarks from Firefox. I am running Firefox version 3.5.2. According to Mozillazine.org in version 3 bookmarks are stored in the places.sqlite file.

How can I read this file in order to make a copy of all my bookmarks?

Is there a better way to make a copy of my bookmarks?


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Firefox can create a html file with your bookmarks. You can open that file with any browser.

Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks -> Import and Backup ->export HTML
