Building a fey warlock. using fey heratige from CompMage. Yey DR4/Cold Iron at lvl 8 (Fey skin specifically stacks)
anyone got a picture of a slightly fey, male warlock in Mithral Full Plate, holding a longspear?

ANy suggestions on a jokje proffesion.
I have one spare skill point.
Currently I'm using it in Profession Food Critic.
anyone got a better one?

What race are you? Human? Half-Elf? Something with a template?

Yeah, so you're gonna want magic in the blood. "s a feat. Look it up in your feat index of choice.

I vote for craft(basketweaving), which is one of the most power skills in the game, up there with UMD.

He's a bit 'fey' right? So, clearly, Profession:Hairdresser or Profession:Interior Decorator are required.

Profession:Dance Instructor perhaps?

[edit] No picture here, sorry.

Profession: Blacksmith's Apprentice's Apprentice
Profession: Piggy Bank Inspector

I don't qualitfy.
It has a efl/dwarf/plantouched/assimar/gnome prerequisite.

I'm not actually getting any spells out of my fey heratage yet.
the lvl 6's ones are so-so.
lvl 9 will be good.
I've always got the unlimited supply of warlock magic...

I think there's an NPC in Expedition to Castle Ravenloft who has ranks in this as well. Of course, it is a prereq for the Trophy Hunter feat.

Explain.

It's an old running joke on the 339 board over at WotC, which, weirdly enough will probably no longer be 339 when the boards go back up. What a weird and jarring thought.

What is board 339?

CharOp.

Basically, people kept saying "You can still be the best X even if you sink every single skill point into Craft (Basketweaving)" and "What's the best character ever? Why, a Commoner 20 with 23 ranks in Craft (Basketweaving), of course!" and things like that. Finally, they made a thread to optimize Craft (Basketweaving), and ended up with a few dozen attacks with dual-wielded baskets the character made and enchanted himself. So now you can honestly claim that Craft (Basketweaving) is a worthwhile expenditure of skill points.

To extrapolate, this is because Craft: Basketweaving is the most obscure skill defined in the game; exactly one phrase in the whole game mentions it and that's in the description of Beget Bogun.

The joke stems from the fact that it's literally the least supported official skill in the entire 3.0+3.5 rules set and as such obviously the perfect thing to optimize.
