This may sound like a stupid question, and I am in general very computer savvy, but--how do I download mp3's from the web? I mean, if I know of an mp3 I want at: http://www.website.com/music/song.mp3, then how do I get it downloaded? If I go there, it just plays. So please help, because I'm feeling a bit stupid. :smalltongue:

If it's via a link, generally *right click* *save target as* works. Dunno about scuttlin' directly to the file, that hasn't come up for me.

Try and find your temporary internet files. They're usually under tools -> settings/options then some other buttons. It should be there.

If the page itself is an MP3, Save Page As, under File, will do the trick.

Also, if what I noticed on my computer ist true, it only 'just plays' when the Quicktime is installed. Any other times it downloaded.

If you can open the file in internet explorer, just click "save page as", it should work.

It's because it's just an example URL :smallwink:

Yeah, I think just opening it in internet explorer and "save page as"-ing is the most easiest way to do it or right-clicking a link to it and "save link as"-ing.

Great, I'll try that.

Should I say "lol" or "fail!"?

Should I say "lol" or "fail!"?

Preferably both. At once. Thusly: FLAOILL
