I think that more reader mail would be fun, but it would kind of break the momentum of the plot. I approve of RGR's suggestion, though.

I don't have any of the books besides OotPCs and SoD.... was 301 at the beginning or end of a book? I'd imagine at the beginning since the last frame says "and now we return to The Order of the Stick."

Neither. It was inbetween strips 283 and 284. The book ended on 301.

Yes it was, I actually thought it was a misprint as it went 283, 301, 284. But it's fitting there as there is, as Elan says, "a weekend cliffhanger". 301 was the facing page to 283 which put 284 on the page after it.

It makes sense, when you have the books.
