I'd use google for this but in the past google has done diddly squat for me.

I'm wondering if it's possible to use something like contacts to color your pupils sort of like how contacts can color that other area I can never remember the name of.

I think so. I'm not really sure though. It seems to me that that'd be like wearing sunglasses, and the entire world would be a tint of whatever colour you chose. Also, the bit you can't remember is the iris.

Looks like if you actually want to, you know, see out of the lens it has to have a hole for the pupil, hence the black spot. They do make ones that cover the pupil, but you can't really see out of them. And yes, they are very expensive.
