"Moondog's" music will nock your socks off.

Yesterday I was flipping through my parents CD collection. "Hmm... the police, Beatles, Noa, Bach, Moondog, Miles Davis.... Moondog?

I picked it up to see the picture of this ugly old guy. I just had to know what this was about.

I pulled my Fallout Boy CD out and put this one in.

OMG.

I had no genre. In one song he might have guitar, trap drums, clarinet, maracas, etc.

There wasn't a single song on the album that I have listened to so far that was not worth re-listening to.

And the rhythm is diabolical! This is not the kind of music you just set playing and go do something else, this is the kind that you set playing and set down and do nothing but listen.

I'll never forget him wielding a parkign meter (or was it a stop sign) as a one-handed club against those street thugs. My best d20 modern character was actually a tough/thrasher, so I have big respect for Mr. Greenberg, I really do. DR/- is killer in a world where guns do dice+0 zero damage.
